  • 15 g butter (for the gratin dish)
  • 25 cl cream
  • 250 g cantal cheese
  • 1 teaspoon tomato concentrate (especially for color)
  • Pepper and salt to taste
  • Paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and season the asparagus with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream, tomato concentrate, a pinch of paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Butter the baking dish and arrange the asparagus inside.
  4. Pour the cream mixture over the asparagus.
  5. Shave the cantal cheese on top and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  6. Let rest a few minutes before serving.

Notes
