- 500g ground beef or lamb
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, grated onion, garlic, parsley, and all spices. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
- Divide the mixture and shape into oval patties or press around skewers to form kefta shapes.
- Preheat the airfryer to 200°C (390°F).
- Place the kefta skewers in the airfryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until browned and cooked through.
- Serve hot with flatbread, salad, or your favorite dip.
Notes
Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning. You can also form kefta without skewers for a simpler version.
